Psychodynamic & Somatic Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma, & Relational Patterns
I often work with individuals who are highly self-aware, insightful, and motivated for change, but still feel stuck in the same emotional and relational cycles.
They can usually name what they’re experiencing and understand where it comes from, but notice that insight alone doesn’t fully shift their emotional responses, stress patterns, or relationships in the way they hope.
In my practice, I work with adults (18+) navigating anxiety, trauma, and longstanding relational patterns using a combination of psychodynamic and somatic therapy. The focus is not only on understanding these experiences, but also on exploring how they are held in the body and expressed through current relationships and stress responses.
This work often involves slowing down, noticing patterns as they show up in real time, and creating space for change that is both emotional and physiological, not just cognitive.
My approach integrates psychodynamic therapy with somatic work to support deeper understanding of these patterns, including how they develop and how they are maintained over time. The work is focused on both insight and nervous system-level change, rather than symptom management alone.
